Composition

Each 500 gm contains:
Vitamin C                                                  10 gm
Potassium chloride                              30 gm
Sodium bicarbonate                            30 gm
Glutamic acid                                             5 gm
Skimmed milk powder up to       500 gm

Properties and Indication

• Viraguard is a balanced formula designed to render a suitable media for the vaccine either in water by prevention of the undesirable effects of chemical and biological pollution or inside the body; it also stimulates the immune response.
• Viraguard facilitates the biological absorption and increases the metabolism of vaccines.
• Viraguard prevents the post-dilution shock for living and attenuated viral and bacterial vaccines.
• Vitamin C plays an important role in immune stimulation and antibody formation and increases the resistance against infections.
• Potassium chloride and Sodium bicarbonate compensate the lost K+, Na+ and Cl- during the obligatory thirst before vaccination.
• Sodium bicarbonate is a source of bicarbonate anion, which neutralizes the gastric acid.
• Glutamic acid is a non-essential amino acid characterized by its antacid effect in the gut, so it optimizes the gastric pH
• Skimmed milk plays an important role in de- chlorination of water, so it prevents the viricidal effect of chlorine on the used vaccine.

Dosage

Poultry :

• 1 gm / 1 liter drinking water
