Composition
Each 100 gm contains:
Amprolium HCl 20.00 gm
Equivalent to Amprolium base 17.68 gm
Properties
- Amprolium acts on first generation schizonts thereby preventing differentiation of merozoites
- Amprolium is structurally similar to thiamin (vitamin B1) and is a competitive antagonist of thiamine transport mechanisms.
Indications
- Treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in chickens caused by Eimeria tenella , Eimeria necatrix, Eimeria brunette, Eimeria maxima , and Eimeria mitis
- Treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in turkeys caused by Eimeria meleagrimitis and Eimeria gallopavonis .
- Treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in cattle caused by Eimeria zuernii and Eimeria bovis

Dosage instructions
Chickens & Turkeys:
- The drug is given according to the following schedule:
- 30 gm (of Amprolium 20% w.s.p) / 25 lit. drinking water for 5 – 7 days (usual outbreak)
- 30 gm (of Amprolium 20% w.s.p) / 50 lit. drinking water for 5 – 7 days (mild outbreak)
- 30 gm (of Amprolium 20% w.s.p) / 100 lit. drinking water for 7 – 14 days (prevention of re-infection)
Cattle:
- 50 mg (of Amprolium 20% w.s.p) / kg B.wt. for 5 days
Warnings & Precautions
The medicated water should be used within 24 hours
Contra Indications
- Not to be given with thiamin and folic acid.
- Don’t use in calves to be processed for veal
- Don’t use in laying age onward.

Storage condition
Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place and used after opening for 50 days at temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place and used immediately after reconstitution.
