Composition
Each 100 gm contains:
Amprolium HCl 20.00 gm
Equi. To Amprolium base 17.68 gm
Sulfaquinoxaline Sodium 21.47 gm
Equi. To Sulfaquinoxaline 20.00 gm
Diaveridine 2.50 gm
Properties
- Amprolium acts on first generation schizonts thereby preventing differentiation of merozoites.
- Amprolium is structurally similar to thiamin (vitamin B1) and is a competitive antagonist of thiamine transport mechanisms.
- Sulphaquinoxaline and Diaveridine act synergistically in the treatment of coccidia, because each drug acts on a different stage of a single metabolic pathway of the parasite.
- Diaveridine interferes with folic acid metabolism
- Sulphaquinoxaline block Para-aminobenzoic Acid (PABA) metabolism.
Indications
Treatment of coccidiosis in Broiler chickens caused by Eimeria tenella, Eimeria necatrix, Eimeria brunette, Eimeria maxima, and Eimeria mitis
Target species
Broiler chickens.
Dosage instructions
For whole product For oral use only in Broiler chickens:
- Added to drinking water for immediate medication in the case of severe outbreak Use 500 g – 1000 g A.S.D Cox / 1000 L for 3-5 days.
Warnings & Precautions
- Not to be used for layers producing eggs for human consumption
- Not to be used for animals producing milk for human consumption,
- Animals should not be slaughtered before 10days.
Contra Indications
Not to be given with thiamin and folic acid.

Storage condition
Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place away from light and used after opening for 50 days at temperature not exceeding 30°C and used immediately after reconstitution.
