Composition

Each 1000 gm contains:
Salinomycin sodium              60 gm

Properties

Salinomycin is ionophore antibiotics which prevent the development of first generation schizonts.

Indications

For the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. maxima, E. brunetti and E. mivati.

Target species

Broiler chickens& Replacement layer chickens.

Dosage instructions

Broiler chickens:

• coccidiosis, 1 kg Statecox /tonne feed.

Replacement layer chickens:

• coccidiosis, 666 gm Statecox /tonne feed.

Warnings & Precautions

• Cause severe growth retardation when administered with tiamulin.
• Operators should wear suitable protective clothing.

Contra Indications

• Do not feed to layers.
• Not approved for use with pellet binders.
• May be fatal if accidentally fed to adult turkeys or horses.
• Not to be used with other ionophores or any other anticoccidials.
• Not to be used during tiamulin treatment.

None.

Withdrawal time

5 days for chickens.

Storage condition

Store at temperature not exceeding 30ºC in a dry place and valid to 60 days after openingunder storage temperature not exceeding 30°C.
