Composition:
Each 100 gm contains:
Spiramycin (as adipate) 150 MIU
Properties:
- Spiramycin is bacteriostatic antibiotic at usual doses and bactericidal at high doses.
- It acts by inhibiting the biosynthesis of bacterial proteins, by binding to the ribosomal 50 S subunit.
- Its broad spectrum includes:
- Gram positive bacteria: Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Clostridium, Diplococcus pneumonia and Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae
- Gram negative bacteria: Neisseria, Haemophylus
- Mycoplasma spp.
- Protozoa: Toxoplasma spp., Treponema hyodisenteriae.
Indications:
Pigs:
- Enzootic pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumonia
- Atrophic rhinitis caused by Pasteurella multocida, bordetella bronchiseptica
- Pleuropneumonia caused by actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae
- Toxoplasmosis caused by Toxoplasma gondii.

Pigs:
- 0.66 g of Suano 150 / 10 kg body weight per day for 3-5 days

Contra Indications:
Do not use in case of known allergy to Spiramycin or any other substance of the macrolide group
Side Effects:
Intestinal dysbacteriosis (change in the quantitative ratios of the normal inhibited microflora) in some cases

Storage condition:
Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place and used after opening for 50 days at temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place and used immediately after reconstitution
