Bacitracin methylene disalicylate 53.00 gm
Equivalent to Bacitracin 44.00 gm
Properties
- Bacitracin inhibits peptidoglycan synthesis in bacteria by nonspecifically blocking phosphorylase reactions, some of which occur during cell wall synthesis.
- Bacitracin is active against gram positive organisms
Indications
Broiler and replacement chickens:
- Treatment of necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens susceptible to Bacitracin methylene disalicylate.
Growing turkeys:
- Treatment of transmissible enteritis (blue comb, mud fever) in growing turkeys complicated by organisms susceptible to Bacitracin methylene disalicylate.
Growing quail:
- Treatment of ulcerative enteritis due to Clostridium colinum susceptible to Bacitracin methylene disalicylate.
Swine :
- For use in the treatment of swine dysentery associated with Treponema (Serpulina) hyodysenteriae

Broiler and replacement chickens: Treatment:
- 1.25 – 2.5 gm Bacitromed / 10 lit.
Growing turkeys: Treatment:
- 2.5 gm Bacitromed / 10 lit.
Growing quail: Treatment:
- 2.5 gm Bacitromed / 10 lit.
Swine: Treatment :
- 6 gm Bacitromed / 10 lit
Warnings & Precautions
Prepare a fresh solution daily and use as sole source of drinking water.
Contra Indications
Not for use in swine weighing more than 250 lb

Storage condition
Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place and valid for 50 days after opening under storage temperature not exceeding 30°C and used immediately after reconstitution
