Equivalent to Tylosin base 100.00 gm
Properties
- Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic produced by a strain of Streptomyces fradiae. It exerts its antimicrobial effect by inhibiting protein synthesis of susceptible micro-organisms.
- Tylosin spectrum of activity includes Gram- positive bacteria including Clostridium perfringens and some Gram-negative strains such as Pasteurella and Mycoplasma spp.
Indications
Chickens and turkeys:
- For treatment of Mycoplasma synoviae airsacculitis in chickens and Mycoplasma gallisepticum S6 in chickens and turkeys.
- In the field Tylosin has also proved useful in reducing the level of infection following stress associated with live vaccination.
- Treatment of outbreaks of necrotic enteritis in chickens caused by Clostridium perfringens.
Pigs:
- For treatment of enzootic pneumonia, swine dysentery and other scours caused by organisms (e.g. Lawsonia intracellularis)
Calves:
- For treatment of pneumonia in associated with Mycoplasma and Pasteurella multocida

Dosage & Administration
For whole product
For oral administration in drinking water.
Chickens and turkeys:
- 54.1 gm of Tyloresp 100 W.S.P / 1000 kg bodyweight for 5 days.
In case of necrotic enteritis in chickens :
- 21.64 – 54.1 gm of Tyloresp 100 W.S.P/ 100 liter for 5 days
Pigs:
- 27.05 gm of Tyloresp 100 W.S.P/1000 kg bodyweight daily for 3-10 days.
Calves:
- 1.08gram of Tyloresp 100 W.S.P/ calf twice daily for 7-14 days.
Warnings & Precautions
Any medicated water which is not consumed within 24 hours should be discarded
Contra Indications
Not to be used in animals known to be hypersensitive to the Tylosin or other macrolide antibiotic

Storage condition
Store at temperature not exceeding 30ºC in a dry place and used after opening for 50 days at temperature not exceeding 30ºC in a dry place and used immediately after reconstitution
